Ricky's Birthday

We had so much fun for Ricky's birthday this year. He's feeling a little old now that he's 23... ? We've been getting so excited for the warmer weather to get here (that is if it ever does get here) that Ricky has really been looking forward to camping. So for his birthday he got a tent and some camping chairs. The cake was the best part though. It's a Packard favorite... Mud Pie. Oreos and Ice Cream with caramel and chocolate syrup with whipped cream on top, sign us up!!

Play Ball!

Baseball season has officially started! Ricky is coaching and playing in the BYU-Idaho competitive league with my brother Drew. Ricky is #26 and Drew is #24. We are really expecting great things out of their team, the Hawks, with the stellar coaching they have this season. Ricky is also umpiring a few games when he's not playing and we can't get enough baseball around here!

At BYU-Idaho we even have a closing prayer.

I have been working hard on my photography. These are the postcards I hope to put around town to generate business. I want to put them in the dress shop on Main St and hopefully in a few of the jewelry stores. What do we think?

The San Diego Zoo was a hoot! We saw everything there.

San Diego Part 1

We had the greatest trip to San Diego! We really needed a getaway and the break between semesters was the perfect time to do it. Even though the whole family couldn't be there we still had a great time with Ricky's sister Janae and her family. They are a ton of fun. We got to visit the zoo, hang out at the beach and just relax a bit. It was everything we needed. Drew even got to hang out with us. But because there were so many photos I'm just going to put them in two separate posts.

Drew's Homecoming/My Birthday

I'm way behind! This has to be my catch up post because my school work last semester definitely got to me. Drew came home on March 9 and it was not a day too soon. it was just in time for my birthday, well a day late, but we'll forgive him. So Ricky and I celebrated my birthday and then flew out to Michigan to see the family and celebrate again with them. It was the best birthday ever!

School, School, School

This is a bit of an overdue update. School has been keeping both of us pretty busy lately. I've been trying to get my photography going and Ricky has been busier than ever with homework it seems. A few weeks ago I was able to take engagement photos for Ricky's cousin and I absolutely love them. I've been trying to get my photography blog up and running www.rachellepackard.blogspot.com and needless to say it's been a slow process between school and the million other things going on. But Bennett and Jenessa's photo's are beautiful! Now we're looking forward to Drew's homecoming in just one week! I can't believe how time really flies these days.
